Onion Glow

Here before us lies what seems to be a frozen drop of life — an onion, as if guarding a forgotten secret with its mysterious husk. Where did this crack come from — a sign of loss or of a painful awakening? But is it really just an onion, when it is capable of stirring such emotions?
